September 18 - 20: Annual NEDA Conference
Nicole Siegfried and Suzanne Zimmerman from Magnolia Creek will be attending the National Eating Disorders Association Conference to attend seminars that will benefit our family program and increase awareness about our center. If you will be in Austin, Texas for the event, please drop by our booth and say hello.
Magnolia Creek will also be a sponsor for a special event to benefit NEDA's STAR program taking place on the evening of September 20 at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum. More details to come soon!
Wednesday, September 24: Healthy Alabama Nutrition & Fitness Coalition's Annual Conference, 1:00 - 1:30 pm
Clinical director Nicole Siegfried and dietitian Suzanne Eleazer will be giving a presentation on motivational interviewing at Healthy Alabama's Annual Conference.
This annual conference provides information on current nutrition and physical activity topics for health professionals, teachers, and the general public. For more information, contact Molly at 334-206-5226.

Friday, October 24: Alabama Society for Health Care Social Workers Fall Conference
Clinical director Nicole Siegfried will be giving a presentation on "Understanding and Treating Eating Disorders" at the ASHCSW Fall Conference in Perdido Key. Licensed social workers can qualify for CEU's at the event.
The conference will be held October 22 - 24 at Perdido Beach Resort, with Dr. Siegfried presenting from 10:00 - 11:30 am on October 24. For more information about ASHCSW, visit their website at the Alabama Hospital Association.
